I have made my meatloaf the same way for over 40 years.I thought I would mix it up a little this time & we love it even better.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    deerburger or hamburger
  • 1 lb
    bulk italian sausage
  • 1/2
    onion, chopped
  • 1/2
    bellpepper, chopped
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    fiber one cereal, coarsely chopped in food processor (measure before chopping)
  • 1 c
    stewed tomatoes
  • ·
    montreal steak seasoning on top
  • SAUCE:

  • 1 c
    ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp
    prepared mustard
  • 4 dash(es)
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, packed

How to Make LARAPIN' MEATLOAF

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix all ingredients together in large casserole dish or loaf pan.
  2. Pat to form in the pan.
  3. Sprinkle generously with Montreal Steak Seasoning.
  4. Bake, uncovered, in 400° oven for about 40 minutes or until internal temperature is around 170°
  5. Mix up the sauce & pour over meatloaf evenly.
  6. Return to oven & bake another 25 minutes until it thickens.
  7. Remove from oven & let rest for about 10 minutes to firm up.
  8. Serve with any type of potatoes,& a fresh veggie
