I have made my meatloaf the same way for over 40 years.I thought I would mix it up a little this time & we love it even better.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

1 lb
deerburger or hamburger
1 lb
bulk italian sausage
1/2
onion, chopped
1/2
bellpepper, chopped
2
eggs
1 c
fiber one cereal, coarsely chopped in food processor (measure before chopping)
1 c
stewed tomatoes
montreal steak seasoning on top

SAUCE:

1 c
ketchup
1 Tbsp
prepared mustard
4 dash(es)
worcestershire sauce
1/2 c
brown sugar, packed

How to Make LARAPIN' MEATLOAF

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix all ingredients together in large casserole dish or loaf pan.
  • 2Pat to form in the pan.
  • 3Sprinkle generously with Montreal Steak Seasoning.
  • 4Bake, uncovered, in 400° oven for about 40 minutes or until internal temperature is around 170°
  • 5Mix up the sauce & pour over meatloaf evenly.
  • 6Return to oven & bake another 25 minutes until it thickens.
  • 7Remove from oven & let rest for about 10 minutes to firm up.
  • 8Serve with any type of potatoes,& a fresh veggie
