This a simple recipe that everyone seems to like. You have to darken the buttered sauerkraut. What I mean by darken is slightly burnt. Stirring will bring the darkened sauerkraut up from the bottom of the pan so that more can darken. I know that sounds strange but it is really awesome.
Add some cornbread and you have one easy weeknight meal. Kielbasa and sauerkraut are great together, but adding the butter makes this recipe extra special. Browning the butter and sauerkraut adds tons of flavor. Make sure to let it get browned ... that's where the flavor is.
