- 1 package 8 ounce brown and serve sausage links
- 1 - sm box orange gelatin
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon minced onion
- - juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
- 1 1/4 pounds cooked yams
- 1 can 1 lb 4 oz sliced pineapple, drained
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make jiffy yam and sausage skillet

Step 1in large skillet prepare sausage according to directions. and remove.

Step 2in same skillet, combine, gelatin,water, sugar, butter,onion, salt, lemon juice, and peel. bring to a boil stirring constantly.

Step 3add yams and pineapple, reduce heat, simmer 15 minutes basting frequently

Step 4add sausage, simmer another 5 minutes, basting frequently.
