I had several jars of opened salsa in the refrigerator that needed eating and I wanted something besides salsa and chips and this is what I came up with. It was a big hit with my husband and grandson.

- 6-8 - italian sausage( i used 7)
- 1 pound pasta of choice (i used penne, whole wheat)
- 32 ounces salsa
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
- - shredded parmesan for topping
How To Make italian sausage salsa pasta

Step 1Cook sausage in oven on 350 degrees on foil lined pan, or your preference of cooking, when done let cool enough to handle and slice in bite size slices. While sausage are cooling cook pasta according to package directions, drain. In large pot combine pasta and sausage and grate garlic into pasta and add seasoning and salsa, mix well put back on stove and heat through. Serve with parmesan cheese.
