Ingredients
- 6 - pork chops, boneless
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
- 2 - medium onions sliced thin
- 1 - red bell pepper diced
- 1 - green bell pepper diced
- 2 cloves fresh garlic minced
- 4 cups sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups chopped cooked plum tomatoes with juices
- 1 teaspoon marjoram, dried
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme, dried
- - salt and pepper to tastes
How To Make italian pork chops

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Step 2Place the pork chops in a large skillet with the water and cook over medium heat until the water evaporates and chops begin to brown

Step 3Remove chops to a large, shallow baking dish and arrange into one layer.

Step 4Heat the oil in a large skillet, when oil shimmers add the onions and peppers. Cook until the onions are translucent, then add the garlic. Stir over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.

Step 5Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their liquids and the liquids have evaporated.

Step 6In a blender combine the tomatoes with the dried spices and blend on medium until the mixture is smooth, combine with the onions mixture in skillet

Step 7Pour the tomato and onion mixture over the pork chops. Cover dish with foil and bake for 1 hour. remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes
