Ingredients For italian pork chops

6pork chops, boneless
-
2 Tbspwater
-
1 Tbspsunflower oil
-
2medium onions sliced thin
-
1red bell pepper diced
-
1green bell pepper diced
-
2 clovefresh garlic minced
-
4 csliced mushrooms
-
2 cchopped cooked plum tomatoes with juices

1 tspmarjoram, dried
-
1/2 tsporegano, dried
-
1/2 tspthyme, dried

salt and pepper to tastes
How To Make italian pork chops

1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

2Place the pork chops in a large skillet with the water and cook over medium heat until the water evaporates and chops begin to brown

3Remove chops to a large, shallow baking dish and arrange into one layer.

4Heat the oil in a large skillet, when oil shimmers add the onions and peppers. Cook until the onions are translucent, then add the garlic. Stir over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.

5Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their liquids and the liquids have evaporated.

6In a blender combine the tomatoes with the dried spices and blend on medium until the mixture is smooth, combine with the onions mixture in skillet

7Pour the tomato and onion mixture over the pork chops. Cover dish with foil and bake for 1 hour. remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes
