Serve with remaining Spaghetti sauce. This meatloaf goes great with a side of pasta.

Ingredients

1 lb
hamburger
1 lb
italian pork sausage
1 c
bread crumbs
1 small
onion chopped
1/2 c
milk
1 jar(s)
spaghetti sauce
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
pepper
1/2 tsp
oregano, dried
1/2 tsp
sweet basil
1/2 tsp
italian seasoning
1/2 tsp
garlic minced
1
egg
6-8 slice
mozzarella cheese

How to Make Italian Meatloaf

Step-by-Step

  • 1beat egg and milk together,
    stir in spaghetti sauce (1/2 cup)
  • 2In very large mixing bowl mix all ingredients together.
  • 3Form into a loaf. I make a round loaf that fits into my microwave. Then take my round baking dish and put it in an oven bag to keep my microwave clean.
  • 4Bake on high 10 minutes.
  • 5Rotate and bake another 10-15 minutes til done.
  • 6Let stand for 5 minutes. Cut into wedges and melt Mozzarella cheese on top of wedge slices.
