Serve with remaining Spaghetti sauce. This meatloaf goes great with a side of pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1 pound italian pork sausage
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 - egg
  • 6-8 slices mozzarella cheese

How To Make italian meatloaf

  • Step 1
    beat egg and milk together, stir in spaghetti sauce (1/2 cup)
  • Step 2
    In very large mixing bowl mix all ingredients together.
  • Step 3
    Form into a loaf. I make a round loaf that fits into my microwave. Then take my round baking dish and put it in an oven bag to keep my microwave clean.
  • Step 4
    Bake on high 10 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Rotate and bake another 10-15 minutes til done.
  • Step 6
    Let stand for 5 minutes. Cut into wedges and melt Mozzarella cheese on top of wedge slices.
