Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb
    ground beef
  • 1.5 lb
    pork sausage, mild
  • 1
    onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2
    green bell pepper, diced
  • 1
    celery, chopped
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of celery soup
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1.5 c
    rice, uncooked

How to Make Irene's Dirty Rice Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Saute ground beef, pork sausage, and then pour off drippings.
  2. Saute onion, bell pepper and celery.
  3. Add all cream of mushroom soup, celery soup, chicken soup and rice.
  4. Pour into greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch dish.
  5. Cover tightly with foil.
  6. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
