Oh YUM YUM; a friend at church gave me this recipe and it is delicious and easy to make for a family dinner or get together of any kind.! ENJOY!

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter (no substitute)
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 package sara lee classic brown and serve rolls
  • 12 slices deli ham (regular slices)
  • 12 slices baby swiss cheese

How To Make hot ham and cheese sandwiches

  • Step 1
    Sauce: butter, brown sugar, yellow mustard, worcestershire sauce, and poppy seeds. Heat all of these ingredients in saucepan on stove until warm and dissolved.
  • Step 2
    Slice the rolls in half. Pile ham and cheese on rolls and then put the tops back on them. Place the rolls in a 9 x 13" pan. Pour warm sauce over the top of the prepared sandwiches. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes! Yields 12 dinner roll size sandwiches but you should probably allow at least 2 per person. These are quite tasty!!
