  • 1 lb
    pork tenderloin
  • 1/2 c
    soy sauce
  • 2
    garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    ginger, grated
  • 1 Tbsp
    sesame oil
  • 1/4 c
    honey
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 4 Tbsp
    sesame seeds

How to Make Honey Sesame Tenderloin

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine soy sauce, garlic, ginger and sesame oil.
  2. Place tenderloin in a heavy plastic bag, pour soy mixture over to coat; let marinate 2 hours at room temperature, or overnight in refrigerator.
  3. Remove pork from marinade, pat dry.
  4. Mix together honey and brown sugar in a shallow plate; place sesame seed on a separate shallow plate.
  5. Roll pork well in honey mixture, coating well; then roll in sesame seed.
  6. Roast in a shallow pan at 400 degrees for 20-30 minutes, until meat thermometer inserted registers 160 degrees.
  7. Remove to serving platter, slice thinly to serve.
