Accidentally opened Hominy instead of creamed corn.( Opened creamed corn instead of mushroom soup one time and this whole thing got started.) We love corn so I combine it alot with recipies.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound italian sausage, mild
  • 1/2 pound lean hamburger
  • 1 quart marinara sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons italian seasoning
  • 1 can hominy, regular vegetable size, drained
  • 1 pound bow-tie pasta, cooked and drained
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 bunch parsley, italian, chopped

How To Make hominy bow tie spaghetti

  • Step 1
In a large skillet, brown Italian sausage and hamburger together. Drain off fat and put meat back in the pan.
  • Step 2
Add garlic to meat and cook on medium heat 5 min.
  • Step 3
Add marina sauce, drained hominy, and Italian seasoning and simmer on low heat for 1/2 hour.
  • Step 4
Put drained pasta on a serving dish. Cover pasta with hominy sauce.
  • Step 5
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over sauce. Sprinkle parsley over entire dish.
  • Step 6
Serve with a nice spinach or Ceaser salad and garlic bread. (A nice glass of a good red wine doesn't hurt either.)
