Ingredients
- 3 pounds boneless pork roast
- 1 pound baby carrots
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 1 pound green beans (may use frozen)
- 1 pound sweet corn (may use frozen)
- 2 large apples
- 1/2 pound mushrooms, fresh
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1 quart chicken broth, low salt
- 1 cup wine (rose or white zin)
How To Make hognob pork stew

Step 1Cube and brown pork.

Step 2Chop onions, dice garlic, slice mushrooms and saute together until tender.

Step 3Peel and chunk sweet potatoes and apples.

Step 4Halve baby carrots.

Step 5Put all ingredients in large slow cooker and set on high for 1 hour.

Step 6Reduce heat to low and cook for 6 hours.

Step 7Add salt and pepper to taste and finish cooking for 1 hour.

Step 8Serve with buttered, fresh bread of your choice and enjoy!
