boneless pork roast
1 lb
baby carrots
2 large
sweet potatoes
1 lb
green beans (may use frozen)
1 lb
sweet corn (may use frozen)
2 large
1/2 lb
mushrooms, fresh
1 large
1/2 c
maple syrup
6 clove
1 qt
chicken broth, low salt
1 c
wine (rose or white zin)

How to Make HogNob Pork Stew


  • 1Cube and brown pork.
  • 2Chop onions, dice garlic, slice mushrooms and saute together until tender.
  • 3Peel and chunk sweet potatoes and apples.
  • 4Halve baby carrots.
  • 5Put all ingredients in large slow cooker and set on high for 1 hour.
  • 6Reduce heat to low and cook for 6 hours.
  • 7Add salt and pepper to taste and finish cooking for 1 hour.
  • 8Serve with buttered, fresh bread of your choice and enjoy!
