I usually make this for our Church Potlucks, but if I don't get in the front of the line, I won't get any! ~ I could only find the sweet Italian ground sausage at our Kroger grocery store (in Texas). ~ If you can't find sweet Italian ground sausage, just get sweet Italian sausage links and remove the casing. ~ If you can't find any sweet Italian sausage, use any ground beef (80-20 or better), but you would need to add fennel and Italian seasoning to it.
