Ingredients
- 4-5 pounds pork roast
- 6 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1/2 package baby carrots
- 5-6 medium apples
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large clove of garlic, minced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms, optional
- 1/2 cup chicken stock or water
- 1-2 tablespoon sugar, optional
- 1 cup apple or white wine
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make herbed pork tenderloin with apples and wine

Step 1Mixing well add the stock, wine, salt/pepper and herbs into your crock pot. Along with the sugar if desired.

Step 2Peel, core and quarter apples and place in the bottom of the pot.

Step 3Rinse pork roast, trim excess fat, pat dry and prick the roast all over with a fork or skewer. Place on top of the apples.

Step 4Add the potatoes, onions, mushrooms and carrots on top of the roast and sprinkle with additional herbs if desired.

Step 5Cook on medium to low heat for 8-10 hours, depending on your crock pot.

Step 6If you’d like a stronger flavor do step 1 and marinate the roast overnight.
