4-5 lb
pork roast
6 medium
potatoes, peeled and quartered
1/2 pkg
baby carrots
5-6 medium
1 large
onion, chopped
1 large
clove of garlic, minced
1 c
sliced mushrooms, optional
1/2 c
chicken stock or water
1-2 Tbsp

1 c
apple or white wine
1 tsp

1 tsp
dried rosemary
1 tsp

1/2 tsp

1Mixing well add the stock, wine, salt/pepper and herbs into your crock pot. Along with the sugar if desired.
2Peel, core and quarter apples and place in the bottom of the pot.
3Rinse pork roast, trim excess fat, pat dry and prick the roast all over with a fork or skewer. Place on top of the apples.
4Add the potatoes, onions, mushrooms and carrots on top of the roast and sprinkle with additional herbs if desired.
5Cook on medium to low heat for 8-10 hours, depending on your crock pot.
6If you’d like a stronger flavor do step 1 and marinate the roast overnight.
