~ heat meets sweet pork chops ~ so good & easy!!
I made these juicy, delicious chops last night in just 30 minutes. So easy, so delicious! Fry and bake, all in one skillet. Make sure it's an oven proof skillet - Iron skillets work wonderful. These are good enough to impress dinner quests. They'll be asking for the recipe for sure. I had made these quite a long time ago and forgot exact measurements, so I winged it and I actually think they were better this time. I made sure I wrote everything down, so I could post them. Just plain awesomeness. Enjoy!

How To Make ~ heat meets sweet pork chops ~ so good & easy!!
-
Step 1Mix sugar and spices well, in a small bowl. Rinse and dry chops.
-
Step 2With clean hands, pat both sides of chop with the mix. I use it all. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
-
Step 3In a 9 inch cast iron skillet, I added the oil and butter. Once butter is bubbly and melted I add the chops. Make sure not to over crowd. Cook on both sides for 4 - 5 minutes or until browning well. Add about 1/2 tablespoon water.
-
Step 4Immediately place in oven for another 5 minutes, the sauce should be bubbling and somewhat thick. Plate chops and pour the sauce over them. Now dig in...so yummy!
