I love dressed-up pork. Pork is a blah and bland piece of meat that when combined with marinades and tropical fruits takes on a wonderful flavorful meat dish.

Ingredients

  • 6
    lean boneless pork chops
  • 1 Tbsp
    prepared mustard
  • 2 Tbsp
    white wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    hoisin sauce
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can(s)
    8 oz. pineapple chunks in juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp
    water
  • 1
    papaya, peeled, seeded and sliced

How to Make HAWAIIAN STYLE PORK CHOPS - CROCK POT

Step-by-Step

  1. Place chops in crock pot.
  2. In a small bowl, combine mustard, vinegar, hoisin sauce, salt and pepper.
  3. Drain juice from pineapple chunks and add juice to mustard mixture, reserve the pineapple chunks.
  4. Pour the sauce over chops in the crock pot.
  5. Cover and cook on low, 5 to 6 hours or until meat is tender.
  6. Remove chops and keep warm.
  7. Turn to high.
  8. In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch with water. Stir cornstarch mixture into the juices in the crock pot.
  9. Cover and cook on high for 10 to 15 minutes.
  10. Stir in pineapple chunks and papaya.
  11. Serve chops with sauce and add coconut and macadamia nuts if desired.
