I actually made this the first time quite by accident. I made an emergency substitution that was better than the original. I was out of crushed pineapple, but did not have time to go to the store. As luck would have it, I did have lots of baby food. My family loves Pork loin fixed this way. It always comes out moist and flavorful.

prep time 10 Min
cook time 4 Hr
method Slow Cooker Crock Pot
yield 8-10 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 4-5 lbs. - pork loin
  • 1 med - onion, chopped
  • 1-2 TB. - minced garlic
  • 1 sprig - fresh rosemary shopped
  • 3 jars - hawaiian delight baby food
  • 1tsp. - salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp. - pepper (to taste)
  • 1 cup - chicken broth

How To Make hawaiian pork

  • Step 1
Remove Pork loin from bag. Place in bottom of crock pot.(For easier clean up, us a crock pot liner first.)
  • Step 2
Put ingredients on top of the pork loin in the order given.
  • Step 3
Turn the crock pot on high for 3 1/2 hours, or on low for 7 hours. the time varies Depending upon the age of your crock pot. In my new one, it cooks a lot sooner, where as in my old one, it takes 8 hours on low to be done.
