As a child my parents would ask me what i would like for my birthday and the answer was always this dish. Later I found out it was a family recipe.

Ingredients
- 3 pounds ground pork
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large round onion,chopped
- 1 large can pureed tomatoes
- 1 large can pimentoes, sliced
- 1 large raisins
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- - salt to taste
- 2 cloves fresh garlic
- 1 medium bay leaves, dried
How To Make hamburger raisin

Step 1Braise ground beef and pork. Add onions, cook until clear. Add bay leaf and garlic, and brown for about 3 minutes.Drain excess fat.

Step 2Add can of puree.Heat thru. Add raisins.cook until raisins are plump, add little water as not to burn.

Step 3Add pimentos, heat thru, add vinegar. Add salt to taste. Serve over rice, pasta, or over chopped cabbage.
