This is recipe that I found from a magazine several years ago. I have never tried this but it does sound good so I thought I would share it with you.

prep time 30 Min
cook time 2 Hr
method ---
yield 8-10 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1 - 5- 7 lbs bone-in cooked ham
  • - whole cloves
  • 2 (8 oz) cans sliced pineapple, drained
  • - maraschino cherries with stems
  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup peach or apricot nectar
  • 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

How To Make ham with peach glaze

  • Step 1
Place ham on a rack in a roasting pan. Score the surface with shallow diagonal cuts, making diamond shapes; insert whole cloves into diamonds. Secure pineapple slices and cherries on ham with toothpicks. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, peach nectar, vinegar and ground cloves. Spoon half of glaze over ham.
  • Step 2
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. Uncover; bake 20-30 minutes longer or until a meat thermometer reads 140 degrees basting twice with remaining glaze
