This is one of my favorite things to eat. It is so good and wholesome and it just makes you feel good. I always save my ham bones in the freezer so that when I get ready to make this soup, I have it on hand...I promise you that you will love this...

Ingredients
- 1 large ham bone with meat attached
- - water to cover
- 4 medium potatoes, pare and cubed
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large can of tomatoes, petite chopped
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 2 large cans of veg-all (for stews)
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make ham vegetable soup

Step 1Place ham bone in Dutch oven and cover with water. Boil until meat falls off of the bone, about an hour and a half. To the pot, add cubed potatoes, onions, and can of tomatoes. Cook on medium heat until potatoes are done but not mushy. Add tomato sauce, two cans of Veg-All and corn. Bring back to a boil. Add ketchup and brown sugar. Cook for another 20 minutes. Serve with crusty bread or corn bread.
