Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons onion, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ham drippings
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup ham, cooked and diced
  • 1 cup corn, drained
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash pepper

How To Make ham & corn custard

  • Step 1
    Saute onion in drippings until tender.
  • Step 2
    Beat eggs in a bowl; add milk, ham, corn, parsley and seasonings.
  • Step 3
    Stir in onions.
  • Step 4
    Pour mixture into a buttered 1-quart casserole.
  • Step 5
    Bake in preheated 350 oven 30 to 40 minutes, or until custard is firm.
