It sounds odd, but it is soooo good! It is a dish a friend of mine turned me on to. She is originally from Pennsylvania and told me it is a penn-dutch recipe. It freezes just beautifully too, just make the sauce up before you bake it. Enjoy!

  • 1 lb
    ground sausage
  • 1 lb
    ground ham
  • 1 c
    bread crumbs, seasoned
  • 2
  • 3/4 c

  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/4 c
  • 1 tsp
    yellow mustard

How to Make Ham Balls


  1. Combine ham ball mixture and form into balls about the size of a cupcake.Place in a casserole dish.
  2. Combine all ingredients for the sauce in a saucepan and cook over med-low heat until it boils and the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Pour over ham balls and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
