It sounds odd, but it is soooo good! It is a dish a friend of mine turned me on to. She is originally from Pennsylvania and told me it is a penn-dutch recipe. It freezes just beautifully too, just make the sauce up before you bake it. Enjoy!

Ingredients

HAM BALLS

1 lb
ground sausage
1 lb
ground ham
1 c
bread crumbs, seasoned
2
eggs
3/4 c
milk

SAUCE

1 c
brown sugar
1/2 c
water
1/4 c
vinegar
1 tsp
yellow mustard

How to Make Ham Balls

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine ham ball mixture and form into balls about the size of a cupcake.Place in a casserole dish.
  • 2Combine all ingredients for the sauce in a saucepan and cook over med-low heat until it boils and the sugar has dissolved.
  • 3Pour over ham balls and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
