It sounds odd, but it is soooo good! It is a dish a friend of mine turned me on to. She is originally from Pennsylvania and told me it is a penn-dutch recipe. It freezes just beautifully too, just make the sauce up before you bake it. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • HAM BALLS
  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 1 pound ground ham
  • 1 cup bread crumbs, seasoned
  • 2 - eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • SAUCE
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard

How To Make ham balls

  • Step 1
    Combine ham ball mixture and form into balls about the size of a cupcake.Place in a casserole dish.
  • Step 2
    Combine all ingredients for the sauce in a saucepan and cook over med-low heat until it boils and the sugar has dissolved.
  • Step 3
    Pour over ham balls and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
