i love this dish here i cook it up with some corn and green beans and yummy what a meal

Ingredients

  • 6-8 - potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • - salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1-2 cup shredded swiss cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups milk warmed
  • 2 cups diced ham

How To Make ham and swiss scalloped potatoes

  • Step 1
    boil the potatoes in a large pan for about 30 minutes, or till tender when pricked with a fork.
  • Step 2
    cool potatoes slightly, then slice 1/4 inch thick.
  • Step 3
    in a large pan or skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Step 4
    stir in flour, cooking 1-2 minutes until golden. whisk in milk.
  • Step 5
    bring to a low boil over medium heat.
  • Step 6
    remove from heat and season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 7
    layer potatoes, ham and swiss in buttered casserole dish. repeat layers.
  • Step 8
    pour white sauce over all. bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
