This was my first time using puff pastry. This is a simple and very easy recipe. Hot out of the oven, tasty and filling! Also, another great way to use up leftover meat and veggies. Hope you enjoy! My photo

Ingredients

  • 1 - puff pastry sheet, thawed (cut in half)
  • 1 cup cooked ham, chopped
  • 4 slices baby swiss cheese, diced
  • 2 tablespoons mustard, spicy brown

How To Make ham and swiss puff pastry

  • Step 1
Thaw pastry sheet. Once thawed cut in half.
  • Step 2
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Chop and dice ham and cheese; add mustard and stir to combine.
  • Step 3
Place 1/2 of the mixture on each piece of pastry. Fold and press edges to seal. Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool about 5 minutes before serving.
  • Step 4
NOTE: Even though I did not do this, I think broccoli and onion would be a very nice addition. I would have added this but didn't have on hand today. You would have to cut back some on the ham and cheese mixture or use 2 sheets of pastry, each cut in half, making 4 pieces.
