This was my first time using puff pastry. This is a simple and very easy recipe. Hot out of the oven, tasty and filling!

Also, another great way to use up leftover meat and veggies.

Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1
puff pastry sheet, thawed (cut in half)
  • 1 c
    cooked ham, chopped
  • 4 slice
    baby swiss cheese, diced
  • 2 Tbsp
    mustard, spicy brown

How to Make Ham and Swiss Puff Pastry

Step-by-Step

  1. Thaw pastry sheet. Once thawed cut in half.
  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Chop and dice ham and cheese; add mustard and stir to combine.
  3. Place 1/2 of the mixture on each piece of pastry. Fold and press edges to seal.

Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool about 5 minutes before serving.
  4. NOTE: Even though I did not do this, I think broccoli and onion would be a very nice addition. I would have added this but didn't have on hand today.

You would have to cut back some on the ham and cheese mixture or use 2 sheets of pastry, each cut in half, making 4 pieces.
