ham and swiss linguine

I like to cook for my neighbors and about once a week I'll have a few over for supper. Their commute to the big city makes them very tired by the time they get home. When I see them going to the mailbox I yell an invite for dinner from my porch, they usually smile real big and tell me they'll be over in 5 minutes. In the 5 years I've been doing this I've never been turned down once. This casserole is one of their favorites that I prepare. Add some garlic bread and a good salad and it makes a great meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces linguine, broke in 1/2, cooked al dente
  • 2 cups cubed cooked ham
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1 - medium onion, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 cups shredded swiss cheese
  • - pepper to taste

How To Make ham and swiss linguine

  • Step 1
Boil linguine until al dente. Meanwhile in large bowl, combine soup, sour cream, mayo, butter, and spices. Stir. Add ham, onion, and swiss cheese. Stir to blend. Drain linguine and pour in mixture. Stir to blend and all linguine is covered well.
  • Step 2
Pour all in a greased 9x13 dish. Bake covered in a 350 degree pre-heated oven for 45 minutes.
  • Step 3
NOTE: THis is an easy recipe to double. I'd switch up to a lasagne pan, though.
