- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1 large chopped onion
- 5 cups potatoes, sliced, cooked
- 2 cups ham, cooked and diced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
How To Make ham and potato casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2Grease a 2-quart casserole.

Step 3Melt butter; stir in flour and pepper.

Step 4Add milk and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.

Step 5Remove from heat and add onion, potatoes and ham.

Step 6Pour into prepared pan.

Step 7Top with cheddar cheese.
