ham and broccoli quiche

I use a deep dish pie plate that will hold a double recipe of pie so this was a hearty meal. All it needs is a salad or fruit on the side! It can be put together ahead of time if needed. I will make this again soon so I can get a picture. My guys had most of it gone by the time I got home from class.

Ingredients
- 4 - egg whites
- 4 - large eggs
- 1 cup milk, 2%
- 3/4 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic, salt and pepper mix
- 1 1/2 cups ham, small dice
- 1 1/2 cups broccoli, chopped
- 4 ounces cheddar cheese, sliced or shredded
- - bacon bits, paprika optional
- 1 - pie crust shell
How To Make ham and broccoli quiche

Step 1Line deep dish pie pan with shell, trim edges

Step 2In a medium mixing bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. Mix well.

Step 3Put chopped ham in bottom of pie shell

Step 4Layer chopped broccoli on the ham

Step 5Layer the cheese on top of the broccoli.

Step 6Pour the egg mixture over the layers.

Step 7Sprinkle top with bacon bits or paprika if desired.

Step 8Bake in 350 oven for 35-40 minutes. Let it rest 10-15 minutes before serving.
