I went to the Price Club and bought a package of pork tenderloin. I had never prepared them before. When I opened the package there were two 1.5 pound tenderloins. I did not know what to do with them. My local newspaper has a recipe section. To my surprise, I came across this pork loin recipe that I have been making ever since. It is the best and it is very tasty. Everybody loves it.

Ingredients

  • 1- 12 ounces pork tenderloin
  • - salt to taste
  • - freshly ground pepper
  • 6 tablespoons apricot preserves
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rum
  • 3 tablespoons prepared dijon mustard

How To Make grilled pork tenderloin

  • Step 1
Preheat grill. Season pork with salt and pepper to taste. Place pork on grill and grill 10 minutes.
  • Step 2
Meanwhile, make glaze. Combine the preserves, honey, rum, mustard, and salt and pepper to taste in the saucepan. Simmer over low heat until the preserves melt and the mixture blends together, for about 3 minutes. Makes about 3/4 cup of glaze.
  • Step 3
Brush pork generously with glaze. Grill pork, brushing occasionally with glaze, 15 minutes or longer until meat is no longer pink in center.
  • Step 4
To serve, cut pork into 1/2- inch thick slices and arrange on platter. Serve any remaining sauce on the side.
