Ingredients
- 4 loin pork chops (1 1/2-in thick, or any pork chops)
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- garlic salt, to taste
- olive oil
- barbecue sauce (homemade or purchased)
How To Make grilled pork chops

Step 1Place chops in glass dish, and squeeze lemon juice on both sides, then sprinkle both sides with seasonings. Cover and set aside to marinate for 1 hour at room temperature.

Step 2Preheat grill on high.

Step 3Brush chops lightly on both sides with oil and sear for 2 minutes with lid closed.

Step 4Turn chops and brush with barbecue sauce. Close lid and cook another 2 minutes.

Step 5Turn chops and brush with sauce, close lid and cook 6 minutes.

Step 6Turn and cook another 6 minutes. They will turn a reddish-brown and be more firm when cooked.
