Grilled Cheese with Canadian Bacon and Chives
Not your every day grilled cheese but a very savory grilled cheese that is not easily forgotten.
The bacon and the swiss meld together but the chives are the real zinger.
Who would have thought mayonnaise on the outside of grilled cheese could be so delicious?
How to Make Grilled Cheese with Canadian Bacon and Chives
- Slather mayonnaise on one side of each of the two pieces of bread.
- In a lightly greased skillet put the mayo side down onto the skillet. Add once slice of swiss cheese the bacon, next the chives and then the other slice of swiss cheese. Put the other slice of bread on top with the mayonaise side up.
- Brown on both sides until the cheese is melted. Then enjoy!
