You can make this on the stove top but it is really nice to throw everything in the Crockpot. Serve this with red rice & warm corn tortillas. You can make this like a stew for cold nights or cook it down & use the meat as a taco filling that you can top with cheese & salsa.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds cubed pork shoulder
- 5 cups water or chicken stock
- 3 - green bell peppers
- 2 cans chopped green chiles
- 2-3 - jalepenos
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons oregano, dried
- 1/3 bunch cilantro, fresh
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make green pork chile

Step 1Seed & dice all peppers. Dice onion & mince garlic cloves.

Step 2Add all ingredients except cilantro into Crockpot on low heat and let cook for 6-8 hours.

Step 3During last hour of cooking, rough chop cilantro & add to chile.

Step 4Season with salt & pepper to taste.

Step 5For stove top: brown pork in oil, set aside. Add peppers & remaining ingredients & bring to a boil. Return pork to pot, cover & reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 2 hours or until tender. Add cilantro & check seasoning for taste.
