Ingredients

  • 1LB - beef smoked sausage cut up ( or sausage of your choice)
  • 6 - potatoes peeled and cut in chunks
  • 1-2 - onions peeled and cut up
  • 3-4 - carrots peeled and cut up
  • 2 - sweet peppers cut up
  • 1 sprig sprig of rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon teaspoon basil
  • 2 - bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 sticks sticks of celery cut up
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 - small can of mushrooms drained
  • 1 - package of dry onion soup mix
  • 2-2 1/2 cups cups of beef broth
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • JUST A pinch of ground cayenne pepper

How To Make garden sausage

  • Step 1
    PUT CUT UP POTAOES, ONIONS, CARROTS, SWEET PEPPERS, MUSHROOMS, DICED TOMATOES, CELERY INTO BOTTOM OF DRY CROCK POT
  • Step 2
    LAYER CUT UP SAUSAGE CHUNKS OVER THE VEGETABLES
  • Step 3
    MIX REMAINING INGREDIENTS IN A BOWL AND THEN POUR OVER TOP OF SAUSAGE AND VEGETABLES. TURN CROCKPOT ON LOW FOR 6 HOURS AND THEN SERVE WHEN DONE. SERVES 6 ENJOY
