These are great zesty pork chops that go wonderfully w/ mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    lower-sodium soy sauce
  • 3/4 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1 dash(es)
    lemon juice
  • 4 large
    bone-in pork chops
  • 1 c
    heinz ketchup
  • 1/2 c
    cocktail sauce
  • 1/4 c
    light brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    water
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    dry mustard

How to Make Full of zip pork chops

Step-by-Step

  1. In saucepan, over medium heat, mix soy sauce, 3/4 cup water, 1/2 cup brown sugar, honey and lemon juice. Bring to a boil. Remove pan from heat.
  2. Place pork chops in lg plastic resealable bag. Pour soy sauce mix over chops. Seal, marinade in refrigerator 3 hrs.
  3. Heat oven to 350. Discard marinade. Arrange chops in baking dish. Cover, bake 30 mins. Meanwhile in bowl, stir together ketchup, cocktail sauce, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp water and mustard. Pour sauce over chops and bake additional 30 mins.
