Ingredients For fried coconut/pineapple pork chops

    boneless pork chops pounded
  • 1
    bowl with seasoned flour
  • 1
    bowl with 1 egg, 2 tbs mayo, and 2 tbs honey, mixed as a egg wash
  • 1
    bowl with panko
  • 3 oz
    sweetened coconut
  • 4 oz
    crushed pineapple
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/3 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    coconut extract
  • 1 tsp
    pineapple flavoring extract
  • 1/2 c
    pineapple juice
  • 2 tsp
    cornstarch and some pineapple juice

How To Make fried coconut/pineapple pork chops

    Salt and pepper the chops and dredge them in the flour, Then add the pineapple extract into the egg wash and dredge the chops in. Then dredge the chops in the panko and put some egg wash on one side of the Chops and add coconut to the side of the chops then back in the panko. Making the glaze In a saute pan add the juice and the crushed pineapple and some coconut. Now add the brown sugar and the coconut extract. simmer for a few minutes then add the cornstarch mix. Simmer until it thickens Pan fry the chops to a nice golden brown and top with some glaze.
