I love fried bologna and onions. Il never forget when I was waiting tables and a lady from georgia was in my section and asks why we served ghetto food and who would ever order fried bologna and onion sandwich. I was shocked because where im from we love it and its on alot of menus here. She had told me when your broke thats what you eat. Oh well I still love it, and after purchasing good german bologna and nice rolls its not that cheap.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound german bologna
  • 1 - med sliced onion
  • - rolls
  • - cheese (optional)
  • - mustard

How To Make fried bologna and onions sammy

  • Step 1
    Start frying your sliced onions in 2 teaspoons butter, When they are soft add you bologna and fry til slightly browned. Serve on bread or rolls. Cheese is optional. And I always put mustard on mine.
  • Step 2
    There are many ways you can serve this. Open face with cheese. Also have scramble eggs in pan. Any condiments, Even had a fried bologna and onion sub on my menu.
