FRICKADELLARS (Danish Style Meatballs)
1 lbground beef
1/2 lbground pork
3 mediumpotatoes , cooked and mashed
1 mediumonion , finely chopped
2 1/2 cflour ; divided
1egg , beaten
1/2 tspgarlic powder
1 1/2 tspsalt
1 can(s)cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1/2 cmushrooms , sliced ; optional
How to Make FRICKADELLARS (Danish Style Meatballs)
- Combine all the ingredients EXCEPT 1 cup flour , soup and mushrooms.
- Shape mixture into 32 meat balls ; Roll in 1 cup flour.
- Fry in hot grease until browned.
- Place meat balls in a greased casserole in layers with soup between each layer.
- Top with mushrooms.
- Bake @ 325° for 1 hour.
