frankfurters
2 Tbsp
butter
1 large
onion chopped
3 clove
garlic minced
1 Tbsp
paprika
1 tsp
each dill weed and caraway seeds
1 c
water

cube beef bouillon
1 c
drained sauerkraut
2 c
sour cream
8 oz
cooked elbow macaroni

How to Make Frankfurter Goulash

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cut the frankfurters in half lengthwise and then in half. Melt the butter in Dutch oven and saute onion, garlic, and paprika.
  • 2Add the frankfurters, dill, caraway, bouillon cube and water. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer and simmer 10 minutes.
  • 3Add the sauerkraut and simmer 5 more minutes. Add the sour cream and cooked macaroni. Cook until heated through.
