Note: You want to rinse the pasta because once you add the other ingredients it will all stick together if you don’t. This is a dish I make when I'm not in the mood to make a full meal "lots of pans " or if I'm not sure when my husband will be home from work. I can make it up to the point of tossing it all together, till he comes home.

  • ½ red pepper cut into small slices
  • ½ orange pepper cut into small slices
  • 1 small spanish onion chopped
  • fresh grated parmesan cheese “ use how much you like “

How To Make fettuccine with bacon and peas

  • 1
Boil the fettuccine and drain and rinse with hot water and leave in colander till you are ready for it.
  • 2
In the same pan fry the bacon till it is crisp.
  • 3
Remove the bacon and in the same pan again, fry the onion and both peppers till they are tender.
  • 4
Now you’ll want to add the pasta, bacon, and peas back to the onion and pepper mixture to the pan and toss keeping the heat very low till everything is hot. Add Parmesan and toss again.

When you are ready to serve it top once again with the Parmesan.

    Serve with garlic bread.

To make the garlic bread: Mix roasted garlic with unsalted butter and some fresh grated Parmesan cheese. Spread on sliced bread and toast. NOTE: Use as much garlic as you like! If you use roasted garlic it will have a milder garlic flavor.
