fancy nancy's sweet and savory sammie
Just made this up for Sherri's contest. It is loosely based on sandwich I had called The Elena Rouse at a place called Woody's in Chapel Hill, NC. that has since closed.

How To Make fancy nancy's sweet and savory sammie
-
Step 1Butter bread on one side of each slice. Mix cream cheese with hot sauce and Dijon. Spread bottom with slice with dijon mixture. Spread top slice with red pepper jelly.
-
Step 2Assemble remaining ingredients how you would like to. I put the swiss on the bottom slice and the brie under the top slice. Grill until cheese is melted and bread is golden.
