How to Make FALL Favorite! Pork Chops & Apples

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In an ovenproof skillet, melt butter & add olive oil with medium high heat. Generously Salt and pepper chops on both sides. When skillet is hot, sear and brown both sides of chops. Remove & set aside.
  • 2Leave the skins on apples and slice as if making a pie. Toss the apples in bowl w/ lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon. (I am generous w/ the cinnamon.)
  • 3Place half of apples in skillet. Put browned pork chops on top and top chops with remaining apple mixture. Cover and put in oven for 35 - 40 minutes until pork registers 160 degrees. Perfect for fall!
