easy spareribs
This recipe is from an old cookbook from Hawaii. I have made these spareribs for years for my family. Every easy and very tasty. The picture is mine but I forgot to take a picture of the ribs when I placed them on the table for me and hubby so this is what is going to go in the refrigerator for our supper tomorrow. Good to serve with Chinese chow mein noodles..

Ingredients
- 2-3 pounds pork spareribs
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup shoyu (soy sauce)
- - hawaiian salt or sea salt to taste
- 1 can pineapple chunks (save juice)
How To Make easy spareribs

Step 1These ribs are the ones that are in small long strips and need to be cut between the bone. They would be about 2-3 inches each.

Step 2Brown the ribs

Step 3Add the sauce ingredients and simmer till done

Step 4Thicken the pineapple juice with cornstarch and add to ribs.
