    italian sausage, mild
  • 1/4 c
    green pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 2 c
    macaroni, dry
  • 2 c
    water
  • 1 c
    evaporated milk
  • 1 c
    chili sauce
  • 1/2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Easy Sausage Macaroni Supper

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine sausage, bell pepper and onion in large skillet.
  2. Cook over medium-high heat until sausage is no longer pink; drain.
  3. Stir in dry pasta and water.
  4. Cook stirring occasionally, for 2-3 minutes, or until mixture comes to a boil.
  5. Cover; reduce heat to low.
  6. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 14-16 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  7. Stir in evaporated milk and chili sauce.
  8. Remove from heat; sprinkle with cheese.
  9. Cover; let stand for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
