Found this in one of my magazines. Johnsonville sausage

Ingredients

  • 1 package 13.5 ounces johnsonville andouille sausage
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 - celery stalks (diced)
  • 1 medium onion, (diced)
  • 1 medium green pepper (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 - bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 cans 16 ounce each red kidney beans
  • SERVE OVER 6 TO 8 CUPS COOKED WHITE RICE.

How To Make easy red beans and sausage

  • Step 1
    In a skillet, brown sausage in olive oil 3 to 4 minutes. Add celery,onion,green pepper and garlic.
  • Step 2
    Continue to cook until vegtables are tender. Add water,bay leaves,cayenne pepper and beans.
  • Step 3
    Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Remove bay leaves. Serve over hot rice.
