smoked sausage, sliced

small onion, chopped

carrots, sliced
1 Tbsp
minced garlic
2 tsp
dried thyme
1 can(s)
chicken broth (14.5 oz)
2 can(s)
Northern beans
1 1/4 c
Bisquick
1/2 c
milk
2 Tbsp
milk

egg, lightly beaten

How to Make Easy Herb Crust Cassoulet

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown sausage in 10 inch deep skillet until browned. Remove sausage and drain on paper towels. Reserve drippings and add onion carrot and garlic to skillet and cook about 5 minutes.

    Stir sausage, beans and chicken broth into skillet with vegetables and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in 1 Tbsp. thyme and remove from heat.

    Stir together Bisquick, milk, egg and 1 Tbsp. thyme with a fork until moistened. Pour dough mixture over top of sausage mixture in skillet. Bake at 400 for 40 minutes of until golden.
