easy "fried" bacon
Since I live alone, there is no reason for me to cook a whole pound of bacon at one time. I don't eat it very often for dietary reasons but I do like a BLT or have a few slices with my breakfast occasionally. My sister told me her secret several years ago and I haven't fried bacon in a pan since then. "Frying" it in the microwave, covered with paper towels is so much easier, quicker, cleaner and there is less shrinkage.
