easy crockpot roast pork

One of my 'go to recipes' when I'll be gone all day and still want a great meal when I get home. Expect great reviews when you cook this one..

method Slow Cooker Crock Pot
yield 4-6 hungry people

Ingredients

  • 4-5 pounds pork roast - not pork tenderloin as you need some fat
  • 2 large onions
  • 4 packages pork gravy mix
  • 8 ounces water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

How To Make easy crockpot roast pork

  • Step 1
    Spray 6 QT. Crockpot liner with Non-stick product, such as Pam
  • Step 2
    Cut onions up into chunks and place in bottom of crockpot
  • Step 3
    sprinkle pork with the salt and garlic powder and place on top of onions
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle contents of pork gravy mixes over the pork
  • Step 5
    Pour the water around the roast
  • Step 6
    Cook on High for 5 hours or on low for 8-9 hours.
  • Step 7
    If the gravy is too thick, add a little water, if not thick enough, add a little cornstarch/water to thicken it.
