How to Make Easy BBQ Pulled Pork

  1. Put your boneless pork (ask the butcher for a piece good for you) We serve 3-4 good eaters with about 2 1/2 to 3 lbs with left overs for lunches. Shoulder is good for this. Trim off a bit of the excess fat but keep some on for flavor. Rub it with the seasonings. Put it in your crockpot.
  2. Pour the soda over it and cook on low for about 8 hours (I do leave it in longer and it has always been fine)
  3. Remove the pork from the soda and place in a large bowl. Using two forks, shred the meat (and it will be easy to do) Top with your favorite BBQ sauce and serve with nice big rolls.
