easy applesauce pork chops

Found this recipe written down in my kitchen, not sure where I found it or where it came from, but it was delicious!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups applesauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 4 - boneless or bone-in pork chops (whichever you prefer)
  • 2 tablespoons butter

How To Make easy applesauce pork chops

  • Step 1
    In a bowl, combine applesauce, soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar & ginger; mix well and pour into a greased 13" x 9" baking dish.
  • Step 2
    In a skillet, brown pork chops in butter.
  • Step 3
    When browned on both sides, place pork chops in baking dish over the applesauce mixture.
  • Step 4
    Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
