Ingredients
- 4 - ham hocks
- 1/2 pound italian sausage, sweet
- 1/2 pound german sausage
- - water
- 4 - potatoes, quartered
- 4 - carrots, cut in 1" chunks
- 1 small cabbage head, quartered
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1/4 cup parsley flakes
- 2 - bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- - pepper to taste
How To Make dinner in a bowl

Step 1Put ham hocks and sausages in large pot, almost cover with water.

Step 2Simmer for one hour.

Step 3Remove hocks, cut off meat, discard bones.

Step 4Add remaining ingredients, cover and simmer until vegetables are tender.

Step 5Cut meat into bite size pieces.

Step 6Remove bay leaves.

Step 7Serve in soup bowls.
