How To Make deep fried ham slices or pork chops
-
Step 1Combine flour, baking powder a pinch of salt and corn starch blending well.Set aside. Sprinkle chops or ham pieces with Cajun seasoning on all sides. Dip the chops or ham into the buttermilk and then dredge into flour mixture.
-
Step 2Preheat oil in deep fryer to 350^ degrees. Once the oil is hot, slide the chops or ham pieces carefully into the deep fryer and cook about 6 to 8 minutes, or until nicely browned, making sure the chops are submerged. Do in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding the fryer.
-
Step 3Mustard Sauce: Mix all ingredients together. Drizzle over cooked meat just before serving, or serve on the side at the table.
