Ingredients

  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 pound italian sausage, sliced into 1/2
  • 4 tablespoons onion, instant minced
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 46 ounces vegetable juice
  • 1/4 cup cornmeal
  • 1 can mexican beer

How To Make daytona beach chili

  • Step 1
    Brown meat, onions and garlic in olive oil, drain.
  • Step 2
    Return to pot and add all other ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Bring to a boil.
  • Step 4
    Turn heat down and simmer for about 2 1/2 hours.
  • Step 5
    Mix the cornmeal and beef stock and add to pot.
  • Step 6
    Cook this the day before it is served.
  • Step 7
    CROCK POT: Place all ingredients in crock pot.
  • Step 8
    Add meat and cook on high 4 hours or on low for 8 hours.
  • Step 9
    After 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low mix the cornmeal, if needed with the beef stock and add to pot.
