4 Tbsp
onion, instant minced
1 Tbsp
granulated garlic
3 Tbsp
olive oil
3 tsp
hot sauce
1 tsp
garlic powder
1 tsp
onion powder
1 Tbsp
3 Tbsp
chili powder
2 can(s)
stewed tomatoes
1 Tbsp
brown sugar
1 tsp
2 tsp
worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp
46 oz
vegetable juice
1/4 c
1 can(s)
mexican beer

How to Make Daytona Beach Chili


  • 1Brown meat, onions and garlic in olive oil, drain.
  • 2Return to pot and add all other ingredients.
  • 3Bring to a boil.
  • 4Turn heat down and simmer for about 2 1/2 hours.
  • 5Mix the cornmeal and beef stock and add to pot.
  • 6Cook this the day before it is served.
  • 7CROCK POT: Place all ingredients in crock pot.
  • 8Add meat and cook on high 4 hours or on low for 8 hours.
  • 9After 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low mix the cornmeal, if needed with the beef stock and add to pot.
